Product introduction
The main chemical component of 7075 aluminum coil is zinc, usually containing 3% to 7.5% Zn. By adding Mg element, MgZn2 with significant strengthening effect can be formed, making its heat treatment effect far superior to aluminum zinc binary alloy. Increasing the zinc and magnesium content in the alloy can further improve the tensile strength, but the ability to resist stress corrosion and peeling corrosion will decrease accordingly.
7075 aluminum coil has ordinary corrosion resistance, good mechanical properties, and anodic reaction. Its fine grain size enhances the deep drilling performance, enhances tool wear resistance, and enhances thread rolling performance. This alloy can also improve its resistance to stress corrosion cracking through two-stage aging treatment.
The main uses of 7075 aluminum coil include aerospace industry, blow molding (bottle) molds, ultrasonic plastic welding molds, golf heads, shoe molds, paper molds, foam forming molds, wax removal molds, templates, fixtures, mechanical equipment, mold processing, etc.
