Product introduction
The main components of brass plate are copper and zinc, usually expressed by mass fraction. Common brass plates include 57% Cu-43% Zn, 60% Cu-40% Zn, etc. In addition, to improve the corrosion resistance and wear resistance of brass plates, a small amount of elements such as Sn, Al, Fe can also be added.
The production process of brass plate mainly includes processes such as melting, continuous casting, rolling, annealing, etc. Among them, smelting is a crucial step, which requires melting copper and zinc together in a certain proportion, and controlling temperature and time to ensure the composition and microstructure of the alloy. Continuous casting is the process of injecting molten copper zinc alloy into a crystallizer to form a slab of certain specifications. Rolling is the process of hot or cold rolling a slab to obtain the required thickness and width. Annealing is to adjust the microstructure and mechanical properties of alloys, improve their machinability and service life.
