Product introduction
SAE1065 is a medium carbon steel, specifically belonging to the category of superior carbon steel. Its main chemical components include elements such as C, Mn, Si, and P, with C content ranging from 0.60% - 0.70%, Mn content ranging from 0.60% - 0.90%, Si content ranging from 0.15% - 0.35%, and P content less than 0.04%. The specific proportions of these elements determine the mechanical and processing properties of SAE1065.
SAE1065 has good weldability and can be welded through methods such as arc welding, resistance welding, and gas shielded welding. At the same time, it also has high strength and wear resistance, suitable for manufacturing components with high strength requirements, such as springs, bearings, and cutting tools. In terms of machining performance, SAE1065 has good cutting performance and can be processed through drilling, turning, and milling methods. In addition, during the heat treatment process, its tempering hardening performance is good, and its mechanical properties can be changed through appropriate heat treatment processes.
