Product introduction
The yield strength of ASTM-A514 steel plate is a minimum of 100 ksi. For plates with a thickness of 2.5 inches (63.5 mm) or less, the minimum yield strength requirement is 100 ksi (690 MPa). As the thickness increases, the minimum yield strength requirement will decrease (for example, when the thickness is between 2.5-6 inches/63.5-152.4 mm, the minimum yield strength is 90 ksi/620 MPa)
Tensile strength: typically ranging from 110-130 ksi (760-895 MPa). This high strength makes it highly valuable in structures that can withstand huge loads or require weight reduction.
The heat treatment state of ASTM-A514 steel plate: The steel plate must undergo quenching and tempering treatment to achieve the mechanical properties required by the standard. This heat treatment process endows the material with the required combination of strength and toughness.
